2021.10.22 04:03 Interesting_guy2000 Crypto Miner Nbminer GPU O resets to 200w tdp What could it be ?

Every 2 weeks or so my Rig resets Card 0 to maximum tdp using Nbminer only. The rig does sort of crash but not completely as that card just throttles.
If i switch card 0 & 1 to another miner i'm fine running two miners.
I make a little less btc this way.
Is it Nbminer? Is my driver doing this or is Windows 10 up to no good. I doubt its MSI afterburner. Anyone else experience this phenomena ?
I'd like to leave the house one of these days but i got this monkey on my back.

2021.10.22 04:03 drejkol Just got back to the game after ~2 years long break. What to do ?

Title pretty much. I logged in for the first time since a loooong while and first thing they did was to put me on some mission with 1150LL enemies while my gear was buffed to 1100. My vault is full of godrolls from first raids, early seasons and PvP. I still have the old meta gear on myself (Mountaintop + Recluse + Anarchy). I have no idea if I should keep that old gear or just dismantle it all, I have no idea where should I start and what to do first.
Could someone, just more or less, guide me in the right direction ?

2021.10.22 04:03 Chimarkgames Boyfriend playing the cold game

Like the tittle says, it’s been going on for a week now. We have been together for almost 7 years and living together for 6 years. He has been acting very cold towards me and keeping his distance. He doesn’t tell me what’s wrong so I assume he is just being manipulative testing my patience? Anyway, I don’t give in to that crap either since now I’m annoyed about how he abruptly gives me the cold shoulder when he wakes up in the morning and goes to the living room and he does the same crap when he gets home from work. I do love him but my patience does run and I can play his cold game as well. Should I just ignore his behaviour or join the game ?

2021.10.22 04:03 iamscreamingg Tips for when you're struggling with your mental health.

I have seasonal depression, panic disorder, and GAD and these are some of the things I do to help my seasonal depression and anxiety, they may not work for you, but I hope it helps someone out there. It can be hard to do them all, but I always try to do at least 2. Whatever works for you.
(Also you might see this around a couple subs, but I want to spread this as much as possible in the hopes it helps someone.)

  1. Keep your curtains open, even if it's gloomy outside, natural light is still better than artificial light or no light at all. The lack of vitamin D in fall and winter months is the main cause of seasonal depression so getting as much as you can is important. You can consider getting vitamin D supplements or even a light therapy lamp if you have the money.
  2. Keep in contact with people, talk to your family, friends, bf/gf, whoever. We often want to isolate ourselves but that is one of the worst things we can do. You don't have to talk to them about all your problems if you're not comfortable, but just having someone's company can help, even if it's online.
  3. Create. I like to keep myself busy by being creative. I'm in graphic design so I like making posters, websites, packaging, etc., Other things can be painting, drawing, knitting, making music, literally anything. The act of creating something gives purpose, to me at least. And can remain pretty cheap depending.
  4. Try to eat as well as possible. You don't have to go on a whole diet and cut out all junk food, or sugar, or whatever. But, I tend to get into the habit of eating a lot of junk food, which in turn makes me want to lay in bed and sleep even more, which obviously doesn't help. Maybe don't buy as much fast food, limit it to once or twice a week. Cook a homemade meal at least once a week. Even if you're not good at cooking, learning isn't hard especially with the vast amount of recipes on the internet, plus it gives you something to do and you get to create something! At the very least, try to get the nutrients you need, vitamin D!, protein, calcium, all of that, is important and can make a difference.
  5. If you don't like being creative, learn something! Download Duolingo and learn a language, research any topics you're interested in, maybe keep a notebook of all the stuff you learn, learn a new skill, learn an instrument, take a free online class (or paid if you have the money) again, anything.
  6. Try to keep at least semi-active, you don't have to be doing full workouts 3 times a week. Even cleaning can be exercise. Even if it's cold out, bundle up and go for a walk, sometimes the cold air can be a bit of a refresher and snow can be pretty (if it snows where you live LOL). Yoga and just general stretching can help if you're laying in bed or sitting at a computer all day.
  7. That brings me to my next one. Keep your area clean. Whether it's your bedroom or apartment, house, whatever. You don't have to do some deep spring cleaning or anything, but just training yourself to clean up dishes right after you use them, putting your laundry away right away, putting things right into the garbage, keep your floors vacuumed, don't hoard dishes or drinks in your room, putting things back where they belong, etc. Even if you can do only one of these things, that's enough.
  8. Next point, I can't remember where I read it but someone said "try to do one productive thing every day". It can literally be the smallest thing, like taking some dishes downstairs and putting them in the dishwashewashing them, or taking a shower. I noticed sometimes when I do one productive thing, it's easier for me to get into doing more. It can be hard to just get up sometimes but literally the smallest things can make a difference.
  9. Keep up with personal hygiene. You don't have to be getting all dressed up, putting makeup on, whatever all the time. But, even a simple skin care routine can help, I love cleanser, scrub, and moisturizer. Taking care of your hair, eating decent, exercising a bit here and there when you can. Even showering cause even that can be hard sometimes. I personally love painting my own nails and literally have not had bare nails once in 7 years and it makes me feel a lot better (plus it keeps me from biting my nails! LOL)
  10. As cliché as it sounds, drink water. You may not even notice a difference but it is very important and we can often forget about it when we're in a slump.
  11. Be sure to regularly take any medications your are currently prescribed (if any) and talk to your doctor if they're not working, you don't feel right, or any other reason.
  12. Work and/or school. Whether you're in high school, college, working part-time, working full time, not working, whatever it may be. But, try your best in them, again it can be hard because of the depression which I get. But, ask for help when you need it, keep yourself organized, don't let assignments and tasks build up, study for tests as best you can, keep a schedule, communicate with your teachers, coworkers, managers, whoever it may be.
  13. Good sleep schedule. This one I don't personally follow, because my sleep schedule is absolutely fucked right now, but it's on my list. But, not only do you get proper energy, but it's been proven to help you mentally as well, and is one more step to a good schedule.
  14. If you're really not doing so well, consider therapy and/or maybe medication. I understand money and availability can be an issue, but there are also resources online, or maybe through your school/work.
Overall, getting as much light as possible, personal hygiene, communicating with other people, and keeping busy are the most important things to me. Whatever works for you, just take it one day at a time and do what you can. Every little bit helps. I hope this helps even a little bit! I wish the best for the everyone! If anyone has any other tips, please feel free to add them!

2021.10.22 04:03 AbonoBiotech COMMON HERB GARDENING MISTAKES

Common Herb gardening mistakes are easy to make, and maintaining your herbs healthy and flavorful is more difficult than it appears. They are given the impression that they do not require as much nutrition as other plants, however, this is not true. Several elements could be affecting the overall look and taste of your herbs, including their positioning, position in a pot, and watering routine (or lack thereof).
You may also save money by growing your herbs, which is a relatively simple process. However, like with anything that appears simple, there are drawbacks to be aware of. Here are some of the most common gardening mistakes people make, as well as how to avoid them.

  1. Starting with Herbs That Require a Lot of Upkeep:
Herbs are generally simple to plant, although some require more maintenance than others. Beginner-friendly herbs include basil, oregano, chives, mint, sage, and dill. These herbs require little effort to grow and are difficult to kill. Basil, in particular, is frequently used as a trainer herb because of its hardiness and speed of growth. On the other hand, lavender, coriander, and lemongrass require more attention. If you have no prior gardening experience, these are not the ideal option.
2. Season for Growing:
While herbs are available all year, just like vegetables and fruits, there are specific seasons when they thrive best. Cilantro, for example, prefers mild temperatures, so spring or fall rather than summer; when the weather warms up, cilantro flowers and goes to seed (coriander), which means there are no more tender leaves to pick. Basil thrives in warm conditions and will perish in colder climates. Parsley, on the other hand, is a hardy plant that can survive the winter in most climates. It’s critical to plant your herbs at the proper time of year.
3. Cutting Regularly:
Cutting the herbs regularly supports healthy growth and prevents them from becoming leggy, flowerless, and finally leafless. ‘As the herbs grow larger, cut them just below the leaf node and place them in water.’ For example, you may place six basil stems in a jam jar of water and they will produce roots. You may place the roots in soil once they’ve grown larger, and you’ll have a new plant for free.
4. Starting from Seeds:
While starting herbs from seeds may seem natural and cost-effective, many herbs are difficult to grow from seed, making transplants — small starter plants available at grocery stores, nurseries, and farmers’ markets — a far better option. “Growing any plant from seed necessitates paying close attention to watering, soil, and light requirements, but herbs are much more sensitive about germinating and thriving than vegetables,”
5. Mature Leaves:
During a harvest, large, older leaves appear to be the greatest, but bigger isn’t always better. For one thing, the larger, more mature leaves aid in the quickening of your herbs’ growth. They’d flop over because they were too top-heavy. New growths are more flavorful than mature leaves.
6. Letting them flower:
Allowing the herbs to bloom will change their flavor! Cut down the herbs before they flower, unless you’re producing edible flowers. Sweet basil, for example, will become bitter as it matures into blossoms. That’s why it’s crucial to keep the herbs trimmed regularly; you want them to concentrate on growing leaves rather than blooms.
7. Mixing different Herbs:
For some herbs, variety isn’t always a good thing. It’s critical to evaluate which herbs grow well with other herbs if you wish to try companion planting. For example, fennel and cilantro do not grow well together. They can cause chaos on each other’s roots and stunt their growth. Dill and lavender don’t combine because their soil pH needs to be different. If you mix herbs with different water requirements, you risk drowning part of the plants.

This is bugging me to no end. I recently had a mod which added bear saliva and wolf saliva and perhaps others, and I must have removed it at some point. Can anyone tell me what mod adds these?
